Thumb Gospel Music Convention

The premier Gospel Music event in the Thumb of Michigan. A life long dream of Lloyd, "Chic" Severance to bring Gospel Music to the Thumb area. Now in it's 13th year and attracting upwards of 3,000 people over the four days of music, good food and great fellowship. Come hear some of the best Gospel Music groups in the Mid-West. Over 160 RV sites, most with full electric and water. Facilities for showers, laundry and many food concessions. A playground for the kids and many activites. The Sebewaing city park can also accomodate many RVs. Bay Shore Camp has many permanent facilities available for rental, but they go fast! Local motels are also available. There is no admission for the Thumb Gospel Music Convention. A freewill offering is gratefully accepted.

Get out your calendar now and plan on joining one of the greatest gospel music events of the summer. Stay on the grounds, or make it a day trip. Good old-fashioned fun!

NEW FOR 2010

We will see some big changes for 2010 that should allow EVERYONE that attends this year to see every group live. We are utilizing the Youth Center in 2010 for the first time as a second concert venue. Every group will perform live on both stages on Saturday, hopefully giving everyone the change to see their favorite groups live. There will also be an opportunity to purchase a limited amount of reserved seating in the Youth Center only, giving you the flexibility of coming and going as you please.

We will continue the tradition of no reserved seating in the Tabernacle in keeping with our mission of offering this concert experience to all who wish, regardless of financial circumstances.
